Reassurance

Information that is kept to reassure you as a template or that reassures you that the actions you are taking are the same as successful one's in the past.

Prediction

Information that is used to assist you in predicting what will happen with part of your core business now and in the future.  Current lists - trends, research, background notes.

Control

Like the debits and credits of your accounting system, contracts, signed copies, confirmation of orders, money in and out are all part of your control systems. Personnel records, trade marks, patents, insurance etc.
