Selection Day
To gain employment you will need to attend one of our SELECTION DAYS, which are carried out as needed, monthly or bi-monthly, in each office.
At this innovative and educational group meeting, you will get to know about our work practice and gain the opportunity to decide if you wish to join FILEforce, as much as we get to select you into our pool of workers. Successful new FILEforce Officers stay in the pool until suitable tasks which suit their lifestyle needs and skills, are found in their geographic area.
Attending our FREE training sessions ensures a quick transition into the pool of FILEforce regular working officers.
The program goes from 0900 to 1500hrs (9am to 3pm) where you get to find out whether FILEforce is right for you, and we get to know if you are right for us.
WHY REGISTER?
By registering for employment means that you will be contacted prior to the next selection day. Your name stays on the list for two selection day opportunities.
If you are selected on the day you will go into the "pool of available people" and undergo training over a couple of months. Work is assigned based on your location, aptitude and availability.
We encourage and work within your individual commitments to Volunteering and Family Commitments.
If you already have a part time job, this should not stop you from registering for the selection day.
