The average employee stays in our work pool between 12 months and 5 years. If you need the income of Full Time employment, FILEforce may not be your lifestyle choice.

FILEforce works on a "Contract of Employment" which defines the times, places and duties for each FILEforce Officer. The majority of our FILEforce Officers work under 20 hours per week, quite a lot only 10 hours per week. The nature of the work we have available suits a person who is looking to re-enter the workforce or simply looking for employment that suits their LIFESTYLE. Your lifestyle needs may be compatible with our clients needs for people to do both filing, archiving, accounting and knowledge work.

We recruit to a pool of workers who are pre-selected as being suitable for the services we provide in Filing Friends, Office Friends, Archiving Friends and Conversion Friends. Employment is basically broken into two groups (a) those who are looking for a few days/weeks here and there as a diversion from retirement or other lifestyle needs, and (b) those who are looking for a set routine of working on a particular day/s each week.

For the majority of our work we are not looking for specific qualifications but competencies in the Records and Accounting area which include communication skills, reasoning skills, work organisation skills, a high comprehension of the English, a good attitude for part time work, and the ability to be taught to perform routine filing duties quickly.

A varied work experience in an office area is considered a benefit, and certainly a mature attitude and life skills are essential.
