Three Piece Fastener

This fastener should be banned on the grounds of Workplace health and Safety.  Certainly the backbone of the industry for over 50 years, when steel was cheap and king.   This product celebrated it's 60th anniversary in 1993 and was declared by no other than Dame Edna as "a national Icon".  It is still selling at this time, and sales apparently have not reduced due to my canning the product merrily.

However, there is good news, it was supplemented by the Polyprong an all plastic three piece replica of the Arnos No 3, in  1991.

None I can think of

Disadvantages

Catches on files next it.
Cuts you hands
Requires flat surface to assemble
Scratches desk and office equipment.
Dangerous.
